December’s Ipsy Bag Reveal!

Guess what, guess what!!! 🙂 My first Ipsy bag finally arrived!! I am so excited! I ordered it in November but I ordered it too late for it to arrive! So let’s start with what came in this month’s bag and then I will go over each product with you.

What’s inside:

Marc Anthony Argan Oil Conditioning Treatment

MICA Beauty eye shadow brush

MAKE Moonlight primer

NYX purple shadow

& Tarte’s Tartiest glossy lip paint

At first sight I was already excited by the pretty little pink USPS package my bag came in. The shiny pink made me feel pretty already! Then I open up the package to find a pretty pink tote perfect for a night out! (also if you are like me and don’t go out perfect for another bag to put inside of your purse). I don’t why but I am obsessed with having bags to put into my bags.

Let’s talk about the products! This month came with a pretty great variety. I will say I have not had a chance to use the deep conditioning treatment but I am so excited to do so! If you know me you know I love a good hair and or skin treatment! The eye shadow/ eye shadow brush. I used them together and was not to overwhelmed by them. The purple shadow went on dark and was not near as sparkly as I would have hoped. I felt like the brush was smooth but did not blend very well. The moonlight primer… This is so weird to me. This primer is literally used to help protect your skin from computer screen light! I have never ever heard of such a thing! To me primer is all about helping to minimize my pores and to help keep my makeup on all day. I will say as a gamer/blogger this really is good for me! I have never noticed the computer screens damaging my skin but if it’s true I do spend A LOT of time in front of those screens. Last but not least was the Tarte’s Tartiest glossy lip paint… which I LOVE. I have never used it until it arrived in my bag and is now my favorite lip gloss! It made my lips feel smooth and did not have that nasty sticky feeling that lip gloss has, plus they gave me the perfect color!

So here is my honest thought, it was super fun to open up because you never know what you are going to get BUT if i am being honest I would rather take my ten dollars and spend on something I know I will use. On the other hand if you are super trendy and try new looks often this is a GREAT option for you! I am not much of an explorer when it comes to makeup. I typically find products I love and then stick with them. So if you are bored with the products you have and are trying to find new ones this would be an excellent way to try things out for cheap. I really do feel that you get your money’s worth it just may be on products that you do not love, but the risk is worth it if you find a product that you can’t live without! I am looking forward to next month’s bag! 🙂
